Responsibilities
- Perform calculations and analysis using engineering formulas for designing concrete and steel bridge and appurtenant transportation structures.
- Research and review design options for both technical & economic impact.
- Prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates in accordance with applicable design codes.
- Prepare material quantities for structures.
- Team player that will remain in close coordination with other Engineers, independent quality control and quality assurance reviews.
- Other assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Relevant internship or related work experience preferred
- Strong technical skills in structural analysis, including dynamic and seismic analysis, and design of various types of bridge structures.
- Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills are required.
- Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
