Job Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections on production and facility related equipment.
- Lube, oil, clean and maintain production equipment in good operating condition.
- Adjust production equipment to ensure good operating condition, including adjusting v-belts, and hydraulic systems replacing hoses, tightening loose connections and hardware, etc.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb ladders, ride in scissor lift, man lift at heights up to 35’ off of the floor and go on the roof and use a ladder and trap door.
- Support established cleaning schedule and respond to requests for emergency spills, leaks, or other sanitation issues such as the clean-up of blood or other body fluids per the Exposure Control Plan.
- Must be able to understand maintenance work orders, read blueprints/drawings, and identify all types of metals.
Experience/other expertise, required training, special certifications, etc.:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience as a maintenance mechanic working with PLC, hydraulic and manufacturing machinery.
- Forklift Certification/Experience Required.
- Required to Speak, Read, Write, and Understand English.
- Requires computer Skills including Microsoft Outlook and Access Databases such as Computerized Maintenance Management Software and Machines.
- Experience with Lockout/Tagout Procedures Preferred.
