What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slot Lead Technician position at Table Mountain Casino?
Purpose of Position:
Monitor the overall mechanical performance of the slot machines and all other designated equipment to ensure all are operating at maximum efficiency. Troubleshoot, repair and maintain slot machines while providing guidance to Slot Technicians.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Schedule all Slot Technical Team Members on their shift to ensure proper floor coverage.
• Act on behalf of the Slot Technical Supervisor in their absence in areas that pertain to the technical aspect of Slot Operations.
• Keep the Slot Shift Managers, Slot Technical Supervisor, and Slot Technician Manager informed of expectation in his/her absence and follow up to ensure all instructions are carried out.
• Assist the Slot Team Members with technical issues involving the slot machines that go beyond their abilities.
• Assist the Slot Technician Supervisor in player disputed incidents with possible Slot Machine malfunctions.
• Monitor slot part usage and advise the Slot Technical Supervisor when there is a shortage of repair parts.
• Responsible for thorough and accurate completion of any and all required documentations.
• Ensure that Slot Technical Team Member attendance is enforced for all workshops as scheduled for the department.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
• Three (3) years of slot technical work experience preferred.
• Must have good leadership skills, excellent customer service, strong technical skills, and ability to effectively lead a team, and resolve guest disputes.
