The Senior Systems Engineer Team Lead will oversee and guide a team of engineers responsible for managing and supporting critical IT infrastructure for our clients. They will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions. Additionally, they will provide leadership and mentorship to the team, identify opportunities for team development, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive company growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of systems engineers in providing complex technical support, troubleshooting, and solution development for server, infrastructure, and network problems.
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex technical issues, providing high-level support and expertise.
- Develop, document, and maintain team development policies, procedures, and associated plans.
- Foster an efficient and collaborative working environment within the team.
- Provide training, support, and coaching to systems engineers and support staff.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to identify opportunities for company growth.
- Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to provide necessary support if needed.

Education and Experience:
- 10 years of relevant experience supporting and managing servers, infrastructure, and networks for mid-sized companies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (graduate degree preferred).Experience in Managed Services, including IT management and automation platforms, is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Windows Server 2003-Current, Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365 Administration, Exchange Server, SQL Server, VMWare & Citrix, Data Backup, Replication & HA Systems, IT Security (endpoint, network, email), Firewalls, Routers, Layer 3 Routing, Managed Switches, VLAN, and DNS (including various record types).
