HOST JOB DESCRIPTION
- JOB TITLE: Retail
- REPORTS TO: Service Manager
- PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: The primary objective of the retail host is to greet guests as they walk into the building and assist them with any retail items in the retail room. The retail host will also support the host stand when able.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting people in a friendly and professional manner
- Organizing the Retail Room to maintain a professional look.

- Seating servers’ sections in a balanced way, following rotation when possible

- Guiding guests to their table and letting them know who will be taking care of them

- Being aware of what tables are available inside and outside and plotting future seating assignments

- Using the waitlist effectively

- Light bussing & cleaning of tables

- Assisting in keeping the dining room clean

- Communicate with other hosts, servers and managers

- Answering phones & taking carryout orders

- Thanking the guest for dining with us and wishing warm farewell

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have reliable means of transportation

- Must have the ability to stand on feet for up to 6 hours per shift
