Administrative Assistant
Starting Rate: $20.00/hr.
SHIFT: Full-Time, Days

JOB DESCRIPTION:
An Administrative Assistant performs clerical support in accordance with established procedures as directed by the Administrator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Filing paperwork, answering and transferring calls
- Review applications for certification exam, maintain checks for certification exam testing, prepare Fed Ex package for pick up
- Responsible for ordering supplies
- Incoming and Outgoing mail
- Answering calls
- Photocopying and material and distribution
- Performs any other duties necessary as assigned by Supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Experience in long-term care facility preferred
- Experience of at least 1 year in a clerical setting, required
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, such as Excel and Word, required.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness
