About The Facility
In April 2016, Alpena Regional Medical Center (ARMC) joined MidMichigan Health, an affiliate of the University of Michigan Health System. To reflect this, Alpena Regional Medical Center changed its name to MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena. This community medical center is located in northeast Michigan on the shores of Lake Huron amongst vast forest and endless clear water in a friendly, picturesque city. The facility consists of 139 beds and offers inpatient and outpatient health care services to Alpena, Alcona, Iosco, Montmorency, Oscoda and Presque Isle counties. It has approximately 1,000 employees, 200 volunteers, and about 100 physicians.

Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:2 unless some patients in the ICU are Telemetry overflow. Then 1:3-4
Current EMR is Meditech**This client has a rebate of 2% of all billings related to this assignment; passthrough expenses are not subject to any rebates. Please see section 14.6.1 of SSP Master Agreement for details.**
