We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Mid Level Software Engineer to join a leading Company

Our company creates unmanned aircraft, communication, and navigation systems. Experience in commercial and/or military command and control, communications, navigation, and/or human-machine interfaces. Work includes architecting software design, documenting designs, developing software requirements, implementing the requirements using C software, and developing automated test procedures using Python.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.)– Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of experience – Preference is mid-level candidates
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance preferred
- Experience with Linux development, preferably Ubuntu experience
- C programming experience
- Experience with GitLab
- Experience with QML and QT
- Experience developing GUI & HMI – Front-end development is highly desired
- Manned/Unmanned Aerial and Ground Systems Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs)
- Experience with Guidance and Control Systems, Flight Management Systems, Radar, Datalink DOD UAV CONOPS
- Real-Time Embedded Software Linux, Android, Python, Windows C# and/or Java experience helpful
- Experience with SecDevOps, but not required
- DO-178 knowledge
