What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Quote Analyst position at TAD PGS?
We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for an HVAC Quote Analyst to join a leading Company located in Tempe, AZ.
Pay Rate Range: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
Under general supervision, the HVAC Quote Analyst is wholly responsible for all aspects that pertain to designated customer account/s. This role will conduct telephonic and electronic follow-up and closing functions for open work orders on designated account(s) in order to meet the contractual obligations of the client. The HVAC Quote Analyst position will efficiently and effectively execute client-specific projects. This position is ultimately responsible for managing the client's entire project life cycle for HVAC work. The Quote Analyst will partner with key stakeholders to ensure project(s) are within scope, budget, and on time. This position may also work closely with the client and internal staff to ensure work orders or related issues are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Technically review and analyze all quotes from service providers for correct hours, parts, and alternative solutions prior to submitting to the client
- Communicate all approvals or denials to respective providers to ensure compliance with the contract
- Drive optimum utilization of resources - labor, materials, and equipment - while creating solutions across a diverse set of teams, including internal staff, 3rd party vendors, and customers
- Prepares tender documents (inclusive of exhibits for projects, cost plan, contract terms with General Contractors, timeline, etc) for bids and administers contract requirements
- Updates and performs uploads into the system to work orders to reflect the latest status
- Manage the customer and internal stakeholders for the delivery of the customer's HVAC program by providing technical guidance and feedback to the customer, service technicians, parts managers, and installation managers in the best interest of our customers and the company
- Manipulates Excel work order data to prioritize service provider communication
- Provide HVAC subject matter expertise to all customers and internal employees who have questions regarding repair, replacements, or alternative options regarding their HVAC systems
- Other duties as assigned by management
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Associate's Degree in a business or related field or 2 years of related experience
- Minimum one year of experience in commercial HVAC service with an emphasis on retail store systems, service dispatch, and management
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HVAC principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment
- Advanced proficiency in MS Windows Applications, including MS Excel and Word
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers to exceed customer expectations
- Ability to work under pressure and constantly make correct decisions with limited input and determine when to escalate issues to the Facilities Manager/Supervisor or Account Manager
- Professional and friendly demeanor, willing to go above and beyond to accomplish the mission
- Ability to think critically and problem-solve
