YOUR SKILLS ARE:
Required
- Must have a deep understanding of Google SEO principles and best practices.
- Must have strong skills in developing and executing content strategies.
- Must have a strong aptitude for organizing and systematizing SEO strategies.
- Must have experience overseeing a team of SEO Experts.
Preferred
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and/or Marketing or 4 years of relevant experience.
- You’re Analytical - You use a data-driven approach to analyze content performance metrics

- Project Management Skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills - Ability to clearly articulate what good looks like to your team and cross-functional team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- TailStarters.com Website: You’ll help us build the Daily Paws x Chewy’s website of tomorrow, today.
- CATCRACK.com & K9CONNOISSEUR.com Website SEO Development: We’ve had these brands for 7 years. We’ve optimized for Amazon’s traffic. You’ll help us develop a Google SEO content strategy and execution plan to let others know we exist.
- Online Marketplace TOF & MOF Marketing: We have optimized for Amazon’s traffic. As we expand to new online platforms, you’ll write engaging articles to drive commercial intent prospects to checkout on Amazon, Chewy, Walmart, Etsy, etc.
- Pod Team Member: As a Pod Team Member, you’ll work cross-functionally with the current departmental pet brands and your Content Writers. Currently, these two departments are Cat Crack Catnip & K9 Connoisseur.
- UI / UX: Monitor website functionality to extend prospect’s on-page time.
- Conduct Google Keyword Research: You’re in charge of identifying pet-relevant keywords and topics.
- Social Team Collaboration: You’ll work alongside our social team to develop the SEO content execution that drives traffic and engagement through our marketing funnel.
- Backlink Builder: Backlinks are key to receiving Google’s love. You’re in charge of developing the strategy and executing that strategy.
- Project Coordination: You’ll lead, manage, and hold accountable the Writers, Freelancers, and Agencies you hire from start to finish.
- Scorecard Growth: Your department will have a Scorecard to track leading indicators to ensure you & your team are marching in lockstep alongside our pack. Success in your role is above 80%.
*This is a hybrid role, reporting to the Milford, OH location.*
