A professional, warm, and kind family in the Dudgeon-Monroe neighborhood is seeking an experienced and loving nanny for their newborn.
Both parents work in the medical field and prioritize spending quality time together when they are not working. In their down time, they love to cook, read, go on walks, and in the spring/summer love heading to the farmers market.
They recently welcomed their daughter and are lovingly settling into their new life as parents. Their daughter is currently in the NICU and is making great progress each day. They hope to have her home at the end of February-early March. They envision the nanny beginning shortly after.
As first-time parents, they will look to the nanny and their expertise to help provide the best care possible for their daughter. They view the nanny as an important part of their parenting team and want them to feel valued and respected and a collaborative part of their family dynamic.
The ideal candidate:
When there is down-time the family would appreciate help with child-related tasks such as: laundry, maintaining the nursery common area, preparing baby food, and overall organization of the baby’s space.
The family views the nanny as a part of their family and is looking forward to welcoming them to their parenting team!
Interviewing now with the position to start in March/April.
Schedule:
First Four Months: M-Fr: 8am-5pm with flexibility on the start and end time *40 hours per week needed
End of Summer and on: 32 hours guaranteed per week. Flexible if a candidate seeks a full 40
Compensation: $22-25/hr based on experience
Benefits: Guaranteed weekly pay, 5 days PTO of nanny’s choice, Extra PTO when family takes vacation, 3 paid sick days, paid holidays, raises and bonuses based on performance, option for health insurance stipend
Notes:
-Considering covid vaccinated candidates only. Must be up to date on T-Dap shot and receive seasonal flu shot
-When Dad is not at the hospital, he may work from the in-home office and pop up to spend time with the baby. Nanny must be comfortable with a parent working from home.
