Job Title: Sewing Machine Operator
Job Summary:
Operate sewing machines to perform garment sewing operations, such as joining, reinforcing or decorating garment as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operates the sewing machine in accordance with our procedures
- Control the machine and utilize techniques for safety handling materials
- Replace burred or broken needles and thread the sewing machine as necessary
- Examines final product to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
- Maintains safety awareness in, and around work areas and report potential areas of concern
- Maintain high quality standards, as required
- Performs other duties as required or as instructed.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and/or sit all day and move hands constantly
- Must be able to have good visual skills.
- Light lifting, pushing/pulling are required
- Work near moving parts and high temperatures.
- Occasional overtime are required.
