Role and Responsibilities
- Inspects, tests or measures materials, products, installations or work for conformance to specification.
- Read blue prints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection, testing procedures, adjustments methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments as required.
- Assists focus groups in identifying and correcting quality issues and reduce scrap levels as necessary.
- Assist in setup and development of new products and test procedures.
- Assist in data analysis and Initial Sample Inspection reports and capability studies as required.
- Performs inspection of incoming materials, documents inspection results and works closely with receiving and purchasing personnel on receiving issues.
- Administers and maintains the gage calibration system.
- Operates QA inspection equipment and makes minor adjustments and repairs as necessary.
- Preforms operator compliance audits.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum 2 years quality experience inspecting parts.
- Minimum 2 years manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., sit, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
- Verbal and written communicative skills a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
