Our team is looking for an Elasticsearch Analyst to work remotely for a major DHS program. It's important to note that this position will eventually need a DHS Suitability clearance, which requires ship. Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor employment for this role, so candidates must meet this requirement independently.
Key Role:
CDM has a growing need for engineers with Elasticsearch expertise to support the design, development, and implementation of a CDM Dashboard built on the Elasticsearch platform. CDM is actively seeking qualified personnel to support this effort. Navigate the CDM Elasticsearch dashboard to provide tier 2 or 3 level support by resolving potential issues with access, renderings, system performance, etc. Implement and configure out of the box Kibana visualizations, may include developing and maintaining custom Kibana visualizations. Apply data extraction and representation methodologies for data visualization. Perform Data Analysis within the Elasticsearch stack. Configure, integrate, and maintain Elasticsearch, Kibana, or Splunk applications. Configure, maintain, and potentially enhance data solutions and structure queries to increase and/or maximize system performance and efficiency. Ability to read and dissect python code to identify and escalate potential issues. Investigate and understand data sets to identify and escalate potential issues or enhancements. Implement prescribed data retention and lifecycle management plans.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with IT or software engineering
- 2 years of experience with hands-on development, configuration, deployment, integration, or maintenance of systems using technologies, including Kafka, Logstash, Beats, Elasticsearch, Kibana, or Splunk
- Experience with elastic data analysis
- Knowledge of executing Elasticsearch data retention and life cycle management plans
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation (CDM) Program
- Knowledge of the CDM stack
- Knowledge of site surveys, data gathering, or research and analysis pertaining to deploying and
- implementing security and risk management tools
- Bachelor's degree
- Elastic Data Analyst Certification
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
