Takeda Development Center Americas Inc seeking a Senior Manager in Cambridge, MA with the following requirements: PhD degree in Statistics or related field or foreign equivalent degree and 3 years of related experience OR Masters degree in Statistics or related field or foreign equivalent degree and 6 years of related experience.  REQUIRED SKILLS:  Provide statistical leadership and support for the design, implementation, sample size calculation, decision making, analysis and reporting of clinical trials, perform theoretical derivations and conduct simulations using R or other statistical software to aid trial design, sample size calculation and decision making.  Develop R/SAS programs to implement statistical methodologies, and evaluate statistical methodologies and models (including both Bayesian and frequentist methodologies) using theoretical methods and/or simulations. Perform beginning-to-end data analyses, including data exploration, hypotheses formulation, data cleaning, executing analysis (including interim analysis, futility analysis, Go/NoGo decision criteria and PK/PD data analysis), results interpretation and reports writing using SAS and R.  Collaborate within a matrix environment with business leaders and scientists to identify and develop goals for statistical work, communicate and explain trial design plan, decision making plan, statistical methods and interpret statistical results to people without statistical background.

20% remote work allowed ; must live within normal commuting distance of Cambridge, MA.  Company headquarters in Cambridge, MA.
