What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Specialist position at Takeda Pharmaceutical?
Perform the tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storage and distribution of reagents materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
1.Perform the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of reagents, parts, material, supplies and equipment received at BioLife Testing Laboratory.
2.Prepare and maintain records of incoming and outgoing materials.
3.Examine stock and distribute materials in inventory.
4.Assist with the unloading and receipt of sample shipping boxes.
5.Rotate inventory of sample shipping boxes and packing materials back to the plasma centers.
6.Distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
7.Distribute incoming and outgoing packages.
8.Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Degree Required:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Degree:
Associates Degree
· Good communication skills.
· General computer skills.
· Ability to help react to changes in priority in a positive and timely manner.
· Ability to stand up for 6 - 8 hours
· Ability to lift, carry, pull up to fifty(50) pounds.
· Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens.
· Ability to work in a warehouse environment requiring the ability to walk and stand for the entire work shift.
· Requires frequent lifting up to 30 pounds, and occasional lifting more
