Job Description
As part of the Data Engineering team, you will be in charge of deploying the Data strategy designed by the Data Officer, particularly the data visualisation part.
YOUR MAIN MISSIONS WILL BE:
- Collaborate with the Data Officer and other stakeholders to ensure the data management strategy is effectively implemented and maintained.
- Design, develop, and optimize data virtualization solutions using the Denodo platform.
- Administer and support the Denodo environment to ensure its stability, availability, and performance.
- Work closely with the ETL and BI teams to integrate data sources and create a unified data model.
- Provide technical guidance and support for Denodo-related issues and queries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven enhancements and insights.
- Monitor and analyze platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for Denodo implementations.
- Stay current with the latest Denodo features and best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data management capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, ETL, and BI.
- ·At least 1 year of hands-on experience with the Denodo platform.
- Strong understanding of data virtualization, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
- Familiarity with additional data visualization and reporting tools is a bonus
- Proficient in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements is appreciated.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
