Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior SAP Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful delivery of SAP projects while providing guidance to clients. The ideal collaborator will have expertise in SAP solutions and project management. At Talan, we're seeking a Senior SAP Project Manager with a knack for not just delivering projects, but crafting and nurturing strategic partnerships with our clients. This role is more than project delivery; it's about understanding our clients’ strategic objectives and ensuring our SAP solutions align perfectly to support their goals. Among other things, you:

• Own End-to-End Strategic Project Delivery: You lead strategic planning by developing and executing comprehensive project plans that deeply align with client needs and goals. Guide your team towards objectives that advance client vision throughout all project phases.
• Take Data Driven Decisions: You make agile, data-driven decisions to tackle challenges head-on. Present multiple solutions to drive informed choices and maintain project momentum.
• Drive Stakeholder Engagement: You engage stakeholders at every step to synchronize expectations and integrate their feedback seamlessly. This proactive approach ensures alignment, reduces surprises, and cements the relationship through shared vision and goals.
• Proactively Manage Risks: You foresee potential challenges, proactively develop mitigation plans, and effectively manage issues to minimize project disruptions.
• Share Your Expertise: You offer expert guidance on project methodology, recommending proven enhancements that seamlessly integrate with client preferences and systems.
• Handle Change Management: You embrace the fluidity of project scopes with a bold, can-do attitude. Communicate changes decisively, ensuring that the team and clients are prepared to pivot and capitalize on new opportunities swiftly.
• Leverage Your Business Acumen and Industry Expertise: You leverage your in-depth knowledge of manufacturing industries to provide guidance on ERP solutions that are tailored to our customers needs.

Qualifications

• Project Management Expertise: Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on delivering complex ERP implementations. Experience using hybrid PM methodologies is preferred. PMP certification is a strong asset.
• SAP Proficiency: Kowledge of SAP solutions is an asset.
• Industry Focus: Experience in project management within manufacturing industries preferred (i.e.: CPG, life-science, mills, chemicals, etc.) We welcome candidates with a drive to support industries in becoming more sustainable and environmentally responsible.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Adaptability & Drive: Proven ability to work autonomously, manage ambiguity, and thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. A proactive, problem-solving mindset is essential.
• Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to seamlessly manage multiple competing priorities.
