Description
We are seeking a talented full-time yard/warehouse worker to join our team. Responsibilities include safely and efficiently load/unload customers' vehicles and incoming freight deliveries, handling lumber and building materials, picking orders, stocking & counting inventory, assisting with deliveries as needed.
Building material knowledge a plus, basic math skills required, must be able to complete forklift certification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Safely operate a forklift
• Safely load, unload, and stock building materials with forklift
• Load and unload building materials that require Bending, pushing, pulling items weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Gather, organize, and build orders for delivery using a forklift
• Complete and maintain various paperwork
• Load and unload customer vehicles by hand/forklift
• Act as a helper to delivery drivers
• Come to work on time and be dressed according to company policy
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND OTHER DETAILS:
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• General computer skills are preferred with a background in Microsoft Programs
• Ability and desire to learn internal company systems and software
• Must be organized and detail-oriented with a strong will to meet the deadline and project goals
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• The ability to regularly bend, push, pull, twist, and reach above the head with plywood, lumber, gravel mix, shingles weighing 25-100 lbs.
• The ability ride, mount and dismount a forklift for several hours throughout the day
• The ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations and respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to work in extreme weather
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day

Salary : $29,000 - $36,700
