Position Overview
The Business Systems Analyst III is responsible for the technical direction and support of the various platforms in use by the loan servicing department. A successful candidate will operate as a process end-to-end subject matter expert (SME) with little guidance to improve department technology and support business initiatives. The Analyst III must understand how to effectively communicate with business leaders and technical resources to help him/her execute on strategic deliverables. The individual will need financial system (Shaw Spectrum) experience, along with reporting and data experience to assist in generating reports and ad-hoc data.. He/she will work closely with all areas of the business to direct process improvement projects.
Essential Duties
• Conducts process training (new hire, refresh, and/or system update) for all end users via in person or online methods with little supervision.
• Advises executive leadership staff on best practices to determine necessary requirements or features needed to enhance the effectiveness of the system.
• Conducts end user system audits for change recommendations, documents case for enhancements/changes, and leads IT in system testing procedures.
• Leads release schedule implementation plans to project manage functional tasks within the organization.
• Provides regular and timely communications to users on system changes and enhancements.
• Develops and maintains process workflows, validations, and system rules.
• Creates and maintains all system manuals for training and procedures.
• Writes SQL and system reports to create dashboards and analytics.
• Supports the operations teams by aiding users and executives as it relates to technical questions regarding the system.
• Provides vendor management support for vendors to provide guidance on system efficiencies.
• Maintains knowledge of system updates and trends to apply to system usage across the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
