Job Title: .NET Developer

Location: OH - LOCAL HIGHLY PREFERRED

As a .NET Web Application Developer, you will work closely with our IT supervisor, project managers, and fellow developers in an agile development environment. Your responsibilities will include gathering requirements, designing applications, developing code, conducting testing, deploying solutions, and providing technical support. You will have the opportunity to work on new development projects and modernize legacy applications by leveraging technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, SQL Server, and more. Our projects adhere to an N-tier architecture and follow established coding standards set by the Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS).

Required Skills/Experience:

1. Minimum of 10 years of verifiable experience as a .NET Web Developer, with at least 4 years dedicated to ASP.NET MVC application development.
2. 10 years of verifiable ASP.NET experience using the C# language.
3. 2 years of verifiable experience with Microservices.
4. 2 years of verifiable experience with Microsoft C# .NET Core or .NET 5.
5. 10 years of verifiable experience in SQL Server Database Design and development, including query optimization, table creation, view creation, stored procedure development, and function creation.
6. 10 years of application development experience using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later.
7. 5 years of experience in developing projects within the AGILE methodology.
8. 10 years of verifiable experience in developing web applications using the 4.0 .NET Framework or higher.
9. 10 years of verifiable Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience, including development and security of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
10. 10 years of experience or a demonstrable understanding of N-tier environments related to development and deployment.
11. 10 years of experience or a demonstrable understanding of code repository strategies, code promotion strategies, and recovery using Team Foundation Server (TFS).
12. 5 years of verifiable experience implementing Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) enabled controls within Active Server Pages (ASP).Net Web applications.
13. 5 years of verifiable experience in developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and integrating them into MVC web applications.
14. 5 years of experience or a demonstrable understanding of developing mobile-compliant applications.
15. Understanding of secure coding practices for ASP.Net MVC applications.
16. 2 years of experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) or verifiable experience in implementing a testing strategy for applications developed.
17. 5 years of experience developing with Visual Studio, with at least 2 years of experience with Visual Studio 2019.
18. 5 years of experience with TFS/Azure DevOps, including git, boards, and CI/CD pipelines.

Desired Skills/Experience:

1. Experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) development.
2. Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud computing, containers, and Kubernetes.
3. 3 years of ETL development experience.
4. MCPD certification will be highly advantageous.
5. Experience developing reports using Microsoft Power BI.
6. Proficiency in JQuery and JavaScript.
