Job Description
· Project Coordinator/Architect or Engineer shall have a minimum of 0-5 years of design preparation/experience and entry to mid-level project management experience preparing concept level documents using AutoCAD.
· On-site project coordination and management support for the Infrastructure Management Branch of clients Site.
· Working knowledge and understanding of requirements for DoD Facilities including specifications, drawing sets, construction methods, cost estimating using RS MEANS, and all construction contract documentation.
· Understanding of Air Force Standards for Civil Engineering (AFMAN 32-1084, Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-1021, AFI 32-1032 –material specifications, and building codes (i.e., International Building Code (IBC), Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), Life Safety).
· Up-to-date working knowledge of design/construction of Secure Facilities IAW ICD/ICS 705 Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities.
· Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
· Bachelor’s degree in architectural or engineering field is required.
· Does not include Architect-Engineer services as defined in the Brooks Act, nor includes certification of designs as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 36 or Part 2.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, AutoCAD, Construction Material Institute (CMI) specifications, construction methods, and cost estimates, as well as, Building Codes, i.e., IBC, NFPA, ADA, and Life Safety.
