Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Telecommunications Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, engineering, and operations of voice and data networks, ensuring their efficient functioning and seamless connectivity. You will play a crucial role in project planning, implementation, and support of new network and voice systems, as well as providing technical analysis of hardware, software, and networks. As a Principal Telecommunications Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our voice and digital channel systems while addressing end-user requirements and identifying areas for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy voice and digital channel systems, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Develop and deploy call flows to optimize the efficiency of voice and digital channel systems.
- Monitor end-to-end voice and digital channel systems, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or disruptions that may arise.
- Provide timely and effective resolution to voice and digital channel issues, troubleshooting technical problems, and implementing corrective measures.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documents and knowledge repositories for easy reference and future use.
- Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to identify their specific requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in voice and digital channel systems, processes, and infrastructure, and implement appropriate enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in telecommunications engineering, incorporating them into the design and operation of voice and data networks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting voice and data networks, preferably in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of voice and digital channel systems, including PBX, VoIP, SIP, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting and deploying call flows using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting end-to-end voice and digital channel systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
