```Job Description:
The CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient's internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions
- Administer contrast material
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
- Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images
- Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading
- Cleans and disinfects patient rooms
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology program required
License/Certifications:
- ARRT (R) required
- ARRT (CT) required or willing to obtain within one year from start date
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the client or American Heart Association required
- Venipuncture certification required or willing to obtain within one year from start date
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
