Job Responsibilities
The essential functions and key responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide technical support and assist in resolution of manufacturing problems as required
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player in pursuit and support of cost reduction activities to achieve company goals
Job Requirements And Minimum Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: LabView, schematic capture program and PCB layout a plus
- Soldering skills: Solder SMD resistors and capacitors as small as 0402,
- Assemble prototype circuits on a vector board per Engineer schematic
- Assemble engineering prototype board using SMD components. Modify PCB as needed, this may require some creativity
- Assemble test fixtures and test racks per the Test Engineer
- Repair manufacture burn in board and test fixtures
- Keep lab organized and clean
- Team with Calibration Engineer to maintain that all test equipment is in calibration
- Relevant experience in electrical, computer systems
- The ability to read electrical schematics and construct prototypes when required
- Ability to clearly articulate a description of work product both verbally and in writing
