Position: Pathology Assistant
Location: Philadelphia PA 19140;
Vacancy Type: Immediate Hire
Duration: 13 weeks of Contract- highly probable to be extended.
Overview:
Accessions and stores surgical specimens. Files and stores all materials related to pathology laboratory. Substitutes as needed in the Autopsy Room. Aids and assists in the preparation of labels on frozen section material and in other tasks related to surgical pathology.
Education And Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree : in Science (Preferred)
- Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience 1 Year experience as a Surgical Pathology Technician(Preferred)
