Job Description:
The Production Planner will be responsible for managing the weekly and monthly production planning cycles to meet customer deliveries and maximize throughput in the production facilities. The Production Planner will be actively involved with sales, project management, and other teams at the headquarter office to establish and maintain backlog capacities.

Logistics Knowledge – Understands the process of planning and executing the efficient transportation and storage of goods from the point of origin to the point of consumption. The goal of logistics is to meet customer requirements in a timely, cost- effective manner.
Problem Solving & Judgement/Decision Making – The ability to creatively reduce shipping costs, improve processes, manage the challenging aspects of driver shortages and shipping constraints, and handle the pressures of tough deadlines while remaining calm.
Time Management – Has the ability to prioritize, delegate as needed, make tough decisions, set appropriate goals for the team, the ability to solve problems, think strategically, and manage a daily and weekly schedule.
Minimum Requirements:
Two years' experience as a production planner
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, etc. for manufacturing and distribution
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Experience with an ERP system
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferences:
Project management experience
Ability to interact well with internal and external customers
Excellent communication skills
College education or certification(s)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
