Shift Schedule : Monday to Thursday 5 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm
Our company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to assist our Tool Control Team. As a Tool Control Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the organization, inventory, and condition of the tools and equipment necessary for our operations.
Your role ensures the smooth functioning of our projects by providing timely access to tools and minimizing the risk of tool-related delays or accidents.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in maintaining an accurate and organized inventory of all tools and equipment.
Help perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on tools to ensure they are in good working order.
Ensure tools are clean and properly stored after each use.
Support the tool control staff in issuing tools and equipment to the workforce, monitoring their return, and documenting their usage.
Aid in conducting tool audits and participating in inventory reconciliations.
Follow strict safety and compliance protocols related to tool handling and storage.
Respond to requests from personnel regarding tool availability and provide assistance in finding necessary tools.
Coordinate with staff to identify and procure tools and equipment as needed.
Support the implementation of tool control policies and procedures.
Any other related duties as assigned by the Tool Control Manager.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skilled in Microsoft office is a must.
Basic knowledge of tool types, uses, and maintenance practices.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Enthusiastic and willing to learn and grow within the company.
Familiarity with inventory management systems is a must.
Work Environment :
This is a warehouse / shop floor position with frequent interaction with workshop personnel.
Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment as required.
The role may involve some physical exertion, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.
