TalentFish is casting a line for a dynamic & analytical IT Data Analytics Analyst. This is a hybrid, 3 days a week, role in the Deerfield, IL area.
In this new role with our premier client, the IT Data Analytics Analyst, will play a pivotal role in facilitating the seamless execution of our centralized User Entitlement Review (UER) process. Utilizing internally developed tools in Outsystems and Alteryx, you'll collaborate closely with various management levels to ensure adherence to our access management policy and provide vital support in identifying and remedying compliance gaps. What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2-4 years of work experience within Data Analysis.
- Familiarity with auditing standards and previous experience in audit, controls, process, and/or IT audit.
- Knowledge in writing SQL Queries.
- Experience in executing end-to-end centralized User Entitlement Reviews, including data preparation, ETL processes, monitoring, and risk assessment using tools like Alteryx.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in translating business requirements into review strategies and quantitative analytics.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential risks.
- Ability to combine technical knowledge with business understanding.
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality.
What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)
- Execute end-to-end centralized User Entitlement Reviews, including data preparation, ETL processes, monitoring, and risk assessment using tools like Alteryx.
- Support development, testing, and implementation of UER tool updates to ensure accuracy of user access.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and technical architecture for security across various applications.
- Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to identify risks and compliance issues in user access controls, and proactively address inaccuracies.
- Assist in mapping and executing ETL processes in the user access review workflow.
- Maintain standard operating procedures, document best practices, and optimize user access review processes.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities and utilize data analysis techniques, including SQL queries, for reviewing access data accuracy.
- Demonstrate adaptability in dealing with changing priorities, multitasking, and embracing an "all in " attitude as part of a High-Performance team.
- Perform other duties as requested. Occasional travel may be required for training and support functions. In the office 3 days a week, with ad-hoc flexibility as needed.
