What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Builder position at Talento Search Group?
Talento Search Group has an opening for a Machine Builder in South Holland, Illinois. This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is $18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience. This is a 1st shift position with a schedule of Monday-Friday 6am until 2:30pm, plus some Saturdays and overtime.
Position Summary:
To assemble/build top quality industrial size machinery from the creation of the machine all the way through to shipping the machine to the customer. Including testing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assembly of industrial machinery from first bolt to final testing
Operation of overhead cranes and forklifts for movement and positioning of components
Assembly of electrical wiring and connections
Assembly of Hydraulic connection, and setting pressures
Troubleshooting any issues that arise in the build - electrical and mechanical
Testing of final product
Preparing machine for shipment
Experience and Skills Needed:
Strong mechanical skills including hydraulics
Strong electrical knowledge of 3 phase motors, wiring, and connecting to power supply
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
MIG/Stick welding experience
Light fabrication
MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
