Job Description
Job Title: Lead Technician
Location: Castle Rock, CO
Pay: $25-45.00/hr.
We are currently seeking a Lead Technician with Boiler Experience to join our team. If you are a skilled technician with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience working with commercial and industrial boilers, we want to hear from you. Please note that this position requires commuting to Castle Rock, CO.
Responsibilities:
- Perform boiler inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, and handle service calls.
- Represent the company with a professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Prioritize excellent customer service by satisfying our customers, offering thorough and timely recommendations, and delivering top-notch service.
- Identify equipment malfunctions, perform service calls and inspections, and provide effective solutions.
- Optimize boiler room operations, conduct preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment faults promptly.
- Conduct start-ups on boilers and ensure equipment is brought online safely and correctly.
- Identify aging equipment and discuss upgrade options with customers.
- Provide guidance and instruction to junior technicians and lead internal teams on projects.
- Adhere to safety practices and stay updated on relevant certifications.
- Travel up to 60% of the time, covering Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Mechanical inclination and ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities.
- Strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a drug and background test.
- Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and lift a minimum of 100 pounds.
- Will work in a boiler room with temperatures ranging from 110-120 degrees.
- Must have good vision and be able to stand, walk, squat, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
