CNC Programmer 2nd Shift
Job Posting for CNC Programmer 2nd Shift at Talnt
Responsibilities:
- Design and program comprehensive CNC solutions based on engineering technical specifications and blueprints.
- Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency and optimize machine performance.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve programming errors during the production process.
- Conduct simulations and tests of new programs and configurations to prevent errors and ensure alignment with compliance standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all programming codes and changes for future reference and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in CNC programming, including extensive use of CAD/CAM software.
- In-depth knowledge of machine shop practices, metal properties, and machining processes.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in technical drawing and planning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and machinists to translate technical instructions into practical CNC programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certification in programming software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
- Experience working in lead-based product manufacturing or similar industries.
- Demonstrated ability to improve machining processes through innovative programming techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex processes in an understandable manner.
- Proactive in adopting new technologies and software to stay ahead in the field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
