Responsibilities
- Sales Generation:
- Meet store sales goals
- Utilize the elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise
- Comply with all sales related policies and procedures
- Maintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends
- Customer Service:
- Provide the highest level of customer service
- Build and maintain repeat clientele by following through on special requests
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Operations:
- Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized and stocked
- Assist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor
- Participate in quarterly physical inventory
Qualifications
- 1-2 years retail experience
- Experience in retail operations, preferred, with a proven record of effective performance.
- Ability to operate computer or sales register equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with associates and customers.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to function under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
