Major Responsibilities/Activities: - Works directly with the Director of Surveillance with budgeting, planning, communication and implementing procedures for overall operation of the department.
- Directs and assists the efforts of Surveillance Supervisors in the performance of their duties with appropriate follow up.
- Develops and implements training and educational sessions for Surveillance Operations staff.
- Evaluates logs and reports of surveillance staff on an on-going basis.
- Organizes reviews, observations and surveillance audits for all shifts.
- Evaluates performance of surveillance staff, and disciplines per company policy when appropriate.
- Maintain direct communication with Director of Surveillance regarding any on-going incidents or employee related issues.
Minimum Requirements: - Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
- High School diploma or GED. Four-year degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Five years Casino Surveillance supervision or similar position.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in reading, writing, math, and analytical problem solving.
- Proven knowledge of table games.
- Ability to respond appropriately and in a timely manner in stressful situations.
- A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company’s choice, through a payroll deduction program.
- All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.
