Job Summary
Under administrative supervision, follows established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, responsible for managing the daily activities and operations of the Physician Services. Establishes and maintains standards of patient care and staff performance to ensure continuous quality improvement in services delivered. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Healthcare. Interviews, hires, schedules work and evaluates the performance of employees supervised.
Required Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least three (3) years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting OR AA/AS degree in business, healthcare or related field, and at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
