A home care organization in Delaware is actively seeking a patient-oriented and driven Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join their growing staff. In this role, the Respiratory Therapist (RT) evaluates patient experiences for opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist (RT):
- Provides patients and family members with timely and accurate information, and takes appropriate corrective actions regarding our services to ensure complete satisfaction
- Ensures that the team plans daily events so as to be as efficient as possible with time management
- Assists with the proper scheduling of set ups and follow up visits according to company policies and standards
- Ensures that the team follows proper procedures for accurate and timely documentation of patient concerns, and most importantly, takes appropriate corrective actions
- Ensures that the team maintains compliance to all applicable laws, regulations, and SOPs at all times
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory School
- North Carolina RCP state licensure
- CRTT or RRT certification
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal presentation skills
- Adequate PC skills to use e-mail and update notes and other documentation electronically in a timely manner
- Active membership in professional society
