Key Responsibilities:
No prior experience required; we're seeking an individual looking to learn about fuel systems, tank cleaning, equipment use, industry best practices, and Tank Wizards processes, all in line with OSHA guidelines and safety rules. We are always innovating and exploring new strategies and approaches in our methodologies. Adaptability is key, and you should be prepared to embrace and adjust to this growth.
- Complete supervised tasks to carry out service calls efficiently, safely, and productively. This involves using sand blasters, pressure washers, operating the rigs, and assisting with tank cleaning equipment.
- Learn and consistently demonstrate a solid understanding of information pertaining to equipment, chemicals, supplies, company vehicles, fuel systems, testing, and tank cleaning procedures as part of the job requirements.
- Demonstrate progressive working knowledge of troubleshooting, fueling systems, repair processes and how to perform preventive maintenance.
- Obtain required licenses, clearances, and certifications according to OSHA, Tank Wizards and client requirements.
- Learn to maintain accurate records and document service calls correctly.
- Help organize the necessary materials for specific job tasks and repairs.
- Understand and comply with applicable OSHA, EPA, and fire safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
Basic Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
Preferred Skills:
Having any of the following skills would be greatly advantageous:
- Understanding and commitment to safety protocols in an industrial setting.
- Possession of a Commercial Driver's License, showing proficiency in operating commercial vehicles.
- Proficiency with hand tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Experience and skill in painting industrial equipment.
- Effective time management for efficient and productive task performance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Awareness of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to tank systems.
