The Nursing Technician performs basic nursing care and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

 

Education:

Ability to read and write.

 

Licenses and Certifications

*Healthcare Provider (CPR)

 

Qualifications

*Currently enrolled in a practical nursing program or a student currently enrolled in a professional nursing program, or previous experience working with patients, or one-quarter of clinical experience as a student nurse, or successful completion of a nurse aide course, or experience from a related health care field preferred

*NOTE: BLS within 30 days
