What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Drafter position at Tara Mfg?
Job Title: AutoCAD Tech
Duties:
- Produce drawings for use by manufacturing for the assembly of pool liners, pool covers, and spa covers.
- Assist manufacturing employees with any questions or problems that arise during the manufacturing process.
- Produce drawings for customers’ approval before jobs can be put into production.
- Assist customers in order to get the required measurements needed for a product.
Supervisor: Primary – Carrie
Necessary Skills: Should be computer literate and have good math and communication skills.
Education: Drafting classes, AutoCAD or similar drafting program classes
Working Conditions:
- Office environment
- Occasionally will need to visit the manufacturing area to assist manufacturing employees
- Will need to measure old pool and spa covers sent to us so we can make replacements. Old covers can be heavy and dirty.
- May be asked to visit job sites to measure pools.
- Overtime is required during busy times of the year.
Results Expected:
- Drawings are done in a timely manner and accurately so the jobs can quickly go to manufacturing.
- Manufacturing employees are able to easily assemble products.
- Products fit the pools and spas while making the installers’ job easier and home owners happy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
