The Product Operations team within OBS&D is comprised of project managers, sourcing managers, and technical developers. An Associate Product Analyst, is an entry level position. You will be responsible for ensuring that all items in apparal & accessories have complete & accurate bill of materials before an item is released to the vendors for production.
Product Creation
- Develop and manage process for complete & accurate bill of materials for multiple departments & categories
- Collaborate with key partners to ensure that each product component is approved & accurately represented in product development system
- Ensure that Target & external-vendor managed components are identified and represented in the system
- Confirm and driving for resolution to ensure that all product components are represented in the bill of materials before it is released to the vendors for production
- Communicate & collaborate with fabric & trim teams as well as vendors on library assets that might be needed for bill of materials
- Clear understanding of department and category calendars and deliverables, partner with Project Manager(s) when needed
Data & Analysis
- Review product data to ensure it is complete and accurate
- Maintain exception reporting for product that does not have complete & accurate bill of materials, trouble shoot exceptions with key partners
- Develop metrics to report on department & division bill of materials accuracy, communicate metrics to leaders
Minimum Job Requirements
- 2-4 years in product development
- Written and verbal communication skills & comfortable communicating with all levels, including Sr. level leaders
- Attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Potential for working in a fast-paced, often changing, highly collaborative environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Committed to continuous learning, diversity, equity and inclusion
- Ability to work in collaborative team environment and manage relationships with team and key business partners
