POSITION SUMMARY:
The Security Manager provides leadership to assigned workgroup; develops, implements, and coordinates program activities.
Responsibilities
- Work onsite with management
- Maintain clear and uniform procedures for the security team.
- Assist in the selection of and scheduling & training for new recruits.
- Liaise with facilities management to ensure up to date concerns are being recognized and addressed.
- Conduct physical inspections (tours) of the facility.
- Monitor areas of concern with unique attention
- Respond to emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical emergencies or delinquent acts
- Answer calls to security and dispatch response in a timely manner based on priority
- Log activities, complete reports (incident/medical), maintain package as well as lost & found inventories
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in the areas of general supervision and strategy preferred.
