What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production /Assembler position at TARPSTOP, LLC?
Tarpstop is a Midwest US-based manufacturer of flatbed tarps and tarping systems. We are looking for candidates who are dedicated and dependable to fill full-time openings on the 1st, shift in Toledo, OHIO Qualified candidates will be quick learners with hand and power tool experience, technical aptitude, and strong attention to detail. You must be team-oriented, punctual, and enjoy meeting challenges head-on. The right candidate will be trained to work in our fabrication shop assembling tarping systems.

Responsibilities include:
- Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials as required to complete tarping system installations and repairs
- Operating equipment including but not limited to: saws, drills, grinders/buffers, forklifts, scissors lifts, pallet jacks,
- Reading and interpreting team leader instructions and written orders
- Meeting/exceeding customer requirements for production and quality
- Pay close attention to detail to ensure proper function and performance of installed/fabricated parts
- Notify supervisor when the item is complete and ready for inspection
- Packaging/labeling items according to production guidelines
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements for our fabrication team are:
- Regard for quality, accuracy, and safety
- Ability to read a tape measure as well as add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions
- Work in a team environment to accomplish goals
- Comply with handbook policies and all safety rules
- Purchase and maintain required tools
- Read and write English
- Minimal offsite and overnight travel may be required
- Physically able to lift/pull/drag material up to 100 lbs, stand/sit/kneel up to and including 8-hour shift, climb and work from ladders and lifts throughout 8-hour shifts with no limitations concerning the range of motion
Performs other duties and assignments as required.
