Pool Supervisor / Hospitality Floater Summary:
The Westchester County Sanitary Code requires that pool bathers be supervised by a certified CPR professional. When the pool(s) are not in use, this person will float among other departments (including F&B, Engineering, and Guest Services) to assist with other duties. The Pool Supervisor follows all safety and service practices as outlined in the Westchester County Sanitary Code regulations.
Pool Supervisor / Hospitality Floater Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply the rules and regulations of The Westchester County Sanitary Code concerning swimming pools and implement the safety plan.
- Evaluate environmental hazards.
- Use lifesaving equipment and facilities.
- Undertake bather/crowd control.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, of which employee can perform.
- Each associate will be required to follow the rules as found in the M&R Employee Handbook.
Pool Supervisor / Hospitality Floater Requirements:
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Ability to undergo company-sponsored CPR training OR already has a current A.R.C. basic life support for the professional rescuer, CPR or equivalent certification; the certification period must not exceed one year.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, of which the employee can perform.
- Each associate will be required to follow the rules as found in the M&R Employee Handbook
- Prolonged periods sitting, walking or standing.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
