Quality Control Lead

The quality control lead position assists in managing quality control inspections designed to ensure continuous production of product consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals. The position supervises a team of quality control inspectors.

• Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.
• Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams.
• Document and maintain quality control required inspection forms at all stations and areas.
• Assist in implementing inspection criteria per the specs.
• Interpret quality control philosophy to all inspectors.
• Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
• Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement with team members.

· Detail Orientated and Quality focused.

· Prefer ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

· Ability to prepare computerized QC reports.

· Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.

· High School or GED

· Understanding of Quality standards.

· Visual defect analysis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
