Dispatcher

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2nd shift Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation and logistics operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and efficient dispatch equipment , while maintaining effective communication with drivers, and customers.

Duties:
- Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of equipment and drivers, ensuring on-time delivery
- Monitor and track the movement of vehicles using transportation management systems
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and resolve any issues or delays
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations
- Manage fleet resources effectively to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
- Utilize phone systems and other communication tools to maintain clear and effective communication with all parties involved
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatching or related roles within transportation industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of dispatching procedures, fleet management, and transportation planning
- Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) or related software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and team members
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications
