Key Responsibilities:

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified supervisor to support the Transportation team to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met.

This position contributes to the success of our Chilled Transport Team.  This role will support data collection initiatives, perform weekly performance reporting, and will provide leadership for process improvement projects.  Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Responsibilities:  

The LD&T Associate Supervisor will work with Replenishment Planning, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, and other groups as necessary to gather information, understand operational processes/business drivers, and provide support for transportation financial/service target measurements.

• Frontline leadership, team development, time management to include workload management, frontline skill building, and improve employee relations
• Collect data and take action to ensure data integrity prior to data submission
• Improve team visibility to performance by developing weekly transportation reports
• Provide information to the team to assist in solving day-to-day operational issues and reaching short & long term performance goals
• Participate on cross-functional teams and communicate cross-functionally to achieve continuous process improvement

Requirements:

• Degree concentration preferably in engineering, logistics, operations management, or similar field
• Computer proficiency in Excel; Microsoft Access, Business Objects, and/or data mining experience a plus
• High drive for results and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment under tight timelines
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through investigation/follow-through, and employee motivation
• Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impact
• Project management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to give/receive constructive feedback
