What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reconciliation Specialist position at TBG?
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of financial transactions within company records.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Investigate issues related to financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Review accounting records, compare them with banking documentation, and report any discrepancies.
- Track cash inflows/outflows, trading accounts, and investment reconciliations.
- Work closely with treasury and finance teams to investigate cash breaks and exceptions.
- Maintain orderly and readily accessible records for research and examination purposes.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of cash and security position reconciliation.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with Geneva software and understanding of financial instruments such as Syndicated/Private Bank debts, Bonds, and Futures is preferred.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
