What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Skilled Installer position at TC Glass?
TC Glass in Bozeman, Montana is looking to hire entry level or skilled Construction Installers...We will train for this position!! The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, be detail oriented, as well as have a positive attitude. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.
Pay is Dependent on Experience!
Typical Schedule is Monday - Friday (This can be varied)
Overtime on an as needed basis
Duties Summary:
- Safely operate various power and hand tools to prepare, cut and shape material according to measurement
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- Follow safety guidelines at all times
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time; must be capable of climbing, kneeling, twisting and bending in various environments; handle, feel and reach with hands/arms, as well as, frequently lift, push or pull or pull up to 70 pounds.
- Must be willing to travel overnight/out of town as needed
- Work overtime as needed
- Any other related duties, as required and/or special projects as needed.
Skills and Abilities (Preferred, but not required):
- Proven experience as carpenter
- Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, tape measure, rulers etc.)
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Good understanding of basic math principles
