Thrift Store Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and employee management
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve store targets
- Train and mentor staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards
- Conduct employee orientation and provide ongoing training to ensure a knowledgeable and motivated team
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with donations to ensure adequate stock availability
- Implement effective loss prevention measures to minimize shrinkage and maintain store security
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly
- Oversee the visual merchandising of products to create an attractive and organized store environment
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar role in a retail setting
- Strong knowledge of retail math principles and inventory control practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships with customers

-Proficient in Square and Virtual Pay as well as Cash Handling
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
