Description
We are looking to hire an experience Maintenance Manager. This person will have facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance, and landscaping team members reporting to them. We are looking for someone who has excellent leadership abilities, a take-charge personality, and an ability to adapt in faced-paced and changing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversees building, manufacturing, and landscape maintenance.
• Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
• Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
• Oversees and supervises the quality of work for other employees to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
• Manages and reviews service contracts.
• Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
• Checks completed work by vendors and contractors.
• Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
• Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management.
• Skilled in Building Management Systems maintenance and monitoring
• Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
Qualifications
Working Conditions:
• The position is a physically demanding one. May climb ladders, operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other machinery. Will work outside regularly. May be required to lift 50-100 pounds. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, construction materials, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Will be required to work on roofs, scaffolding, raised platforms, and scissor lifts.
